We have decided to make education the primary focus of our flushing dog training programs. This will be facilitated through our
Flushing Dog Training Seminars and a new program called
Train With The Trainer. We recognize the demand for people to train their own dog and remember that we also train our own dogs. When an owner is committed and disciplined, they can have great success when they are working with a knowledgeable person that is willing to help them achieve their goals.
Another difficulty for owners is the lack of training grounds and access to birds. We provide both of these, with a farm that continues to be developed with flushing dog training in mind. We have over seven specific fields for training, with each one offering different densities of cover to be utilized based upon the canines exposures and abilities. We also have water, puppy walk areas, woods, an agility yard and structured yard training areas.
The
Train With The Trainer program is obviously best suited for our local Clients and takes place by a reservation system on Saturdays and Sundays. We will still be training a handful of select Client dogs on a monthly basis. This will be primarily for our non-local Clients through our
Gun Dog Training Schools.
